ARPAVDA has been established in 1995 for the environmental protection of Aosta Valley Region (NW Italy). ARPAVDA main activities are focused on monitoring physical, chemical and biological factors acting on environmental components as water, air and soil.
Since 2000 ARPAVDA is also involved in studying and monitoring climate change effects on alpine environments. More in detail, in the domain of climate change effects, ARPAVDA carries out activities focused on:
Umberto Morra di Cella holds a university degree in Forestry Science (1999). He works on monitoring the effects of climate change on alpine environments. Edoardo Cremonese holds a university degree in Environmental Science (2003). He works on monitoring the effects of climate change on alpine environments. |
